The site comprises 50 acres of brownfield land that was acquired in 2002.  At that point the property benefited from a planning permission for 511 holiday dwellings, leisure and retail facilities and sea defences on the former ‘Coliseum’ site.

Since acquiring the property we have actively sought to resolve the outstanding planning and environmental issues to ensure the development offers the highest quality development in southern England and we remain committed to working to resolve these issues at a local and national level.
